Introducing Jem Aliya Buchbinder-Johnson and her adoring, ecstatic, amazed, blubbering, love-struck parents.
This afternoon, at roughly 4:00 pm Kazakhstan-time, our court decree was signed, bound, and stamped.
Family life officially begins tomorrow when our daughter moves in with us. In about two weeks, we’ll be heading back to the good ole’ U.S. of A.

What a great photo of the three of you. What incredible changes in Jem during the time you've been visiting her. It is really obvious how far she's come already. We will be thinking of you as you make this next transition to family life. Hopefully you are getting a good night's sleep as I type this.

Happy day for the whole family! The Dowd boys can't wait to meet the newest Johnson cousin. Maybe this will get us to finally take a trip east or get you to come to New York.
